Raleigh, North Carolina (October 29, 2019 ) — For the second year in a row, the NC REALTORS® Global Network has been awarded the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Platinum Achievement Award. This award is presented to REALTOR® associations that provide the highest level of global services to its members by consistently providing them with the tools they need to handle international real estate and connect with the global community in the area.

“The NC REALTORS® Global Network is a great way to connect to the world,” said Jake Cashion, Chair of the NC REALTORS® Global Network. “The opportunities for engagement with international businesses who want to locate in North Carolina grow annually so it is important that we are at the table to show all our state has to offer. Our committee and staff are doing a great job and should be commended for this very high honor.”

The NC REALTORS® Global Network is supported by the NC REALTORS® Economic Development Committee and organizes the association’s global engagement efforts, including the annual delegation to the MIPIM International Conference in Cannes, France. The Network also hosts continuing education and informational events across the state such as the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation course.

“This is one of the most dynamic programs we have created in the assistance of Economic Development of our state in many years,” said Tony Harrington, Chairman of the NC REALTORS® Economic Development Committee. “The NC REALTORS® Global Network assists the state in educating our REALTORS®, both commercial and residential, about Economic Development, International Investors and transactions. Through the program, members work both stateside and Internationally to attract investors to our great state. We are proud of the efforts and traction the program has received and look forward to continued success with the Global Network.”

The Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® was also recognized for the second year in a row with the Platinum Award.
